Extreme Loading Inspection

Any time a tower has been subjected to extreme loading such as severe weather, ice, high winds, shock wave or other stress it should receive a complete inspection. Plumb and tension on guyed towers are critical elements to verify after extreme loading conditions. Damage to guy wires, tower members, appurtenances, cables, sheaves and other components can result in latent failures or loss of equipment and revenue.
