Detail Inspection

Many towers have never been analyzed utilizing current state of the art computer modeling. More frequently, insurance carriers are requiring a current structural analysis on towers they insure. Changes to codes, specification revisions and environmental conditions may create a need for a new structural analysis. In many cases, tower drawings and details are no longer available. Many drawings do not provide enough detail to generate an accurate analysis. Numerous older towers have been modified for one reason or another and often those changes have not been fully documented. Detail inspections include measuring and verifying the dimensions of the tower members for input into a modern tower analysis program.
